Where I come from

In Literature I was asked to write a poem describing my town (Adrogue) in response to the poem "Where I come from" by Elizabeth Brewster in Song of Ourselves.

 People are made of music
while the wind is oozing,
and rusty strings are sounding,
birds whistle songs of ourselves

 The place where I live
is covered by huge circles
that lead to other circles
connected by wires
while human beings wander in the woods

The place where I live
is filled with friendship and pretty people
that recieve you with a white smile,
that illuminates the stoney streets

The place where I live
doesn`t need artificial lights
like a star it shines for itself
even when it rains.

By Santiago Brie and Agustin Galvan.
